The Bible is filled with examples of a God who is keenly interested in connecting with ordinary people. Yet somehow, intimacy with God eludes us. Caught up in the business of life, we know we're missing something vital. But how can we experience it?

In GOD IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK, John Ortberg shows how we can enjoy a vibrant, moment-by-moment relationship with our heavenly Father. This class will help us to:
  • Find God where you least expect Him
  • Listen to God's voice
  • Identify which pathway of relationship you're uniquely designed to travel
  • Align yourself with the flow of the Holy Spirit
  • Draw closer to God even when He seems absent.

Small Group Info: Both of our young adult small groups are going to be great groups and all young adults (single, married, divorced, etc.) are welcome to attend. Both groups will have an outward focus as well as meeting the needs for one another.

YA group number 1 is meeting at the Lopez’s home at 7 pm on Tuesday with Tim Timms facilitating. They will study the "Running the Race" material from Serendipity House. This is a seven week study of endurance based on Paul’s prison letter to the Christians at Philippi. YA group number 2 is meeting at the Tanner’s home at 7 pm on Friday’s with Roger Brown facilitating the group. They will study the "Heart to Heart" material from Great Commission Resources. This is an all year study of Jesus and how he transforms us into his likeness.
