	Denbigh Groups and Ministries

	Here is a list of some of the ministries and special groups that we have going on here at Denbigh.  These groups provide opportunity to both get involved in knowing and in serving other people. Email us if you would life more information on any of these groups.
	Youth Groups Our Teens-4-Him group (Senior High), Cross-Trainers (Middle School) and Circle of Friends (Elementary) groups meet for small groups and special activities throughout the year.				People with Purpose People with Purpose is group of Senior High, College age, and Twenty-Something young adults who work together on service projects to make a difference in their world.
	CASA Ministry The CASA acronym stands for Christians Against Substance Abuse.  This began as jail ministry in Newport News and is expanding to other facilities helping people to find transformation through the good news of Jesus Christ.				Scout Troop 313 Denbigh has sponsored the very active and growing Scout Troop 313 for many years.  They meet each Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at our building.  We have also recently took on sponsorship of Cub Scout Pack 313.
	Body Life Small Groups During the school year, our Sunday night service consists of small groups that meet in homes in the area.  There is also a group that meets at the building and several groups meet during the week.				Ladies Bible Class A large group of our "church ladies" of all ages meet on Tuesday mornings during the school year for a time of study, discussion, fellowship and sometimes a meal together.  Child care is provided each week.
