| Our annual Super Bowl party was held on February 6, 2011 We got started around 5:30 p.m. with our annual tailgate party (which looked a lot like a church potluck except a lot of people were wearing Steelers colors). We had a great turnout for the event, and we all had a great time watching the game (or not watching the game) because we were watching or not watching together. OK, so we had a room full of avid Steelers fans who when home a bit disappointed (so now they know how I felt when my Colts came up one drive short last year). One the the things that is generally true about families is that they don't need much of an excuse to get together and enjoy each other. I'm not sure anyone really enjoyed the half-time show all that much, but at least it gave us plenty of time to make one more food run. Below are some pictures of our church family enjoying one another at the big game. We're already looking forward to next year... when the Colts play the Redskins! |
